Brazilian funk is globally consumed, but rarely respected at home. So funk was placed where respect is unquestioned. Inside a museum. What started as a digital exhibition on Google Arts & Culture became a physical showcase at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, turning a genre born in the periphery into cultural heritage.
